Passion and sustainability - Salsus
Healthy and nutritious slow cooked base juices, base juice reductions and sauces. All fresh ingredients are sourced locally, from within Norway, to minimise our impact on the environment.
Recipes are developed in collaboration with excellent, renowned chefs and state-of-the-art technology is used in the production process. The products are used as a base for stews, soups, sauces, but are also perfect on their own as a hot drink.
Deep and round flavours from 100% natural, additive-free ingredients. The tradition of base stock cooking dates back to ancient times, replaced in recent times by instant soups and stock cubes. Bucking these trends, Salsus returns to tradition, where the collagen, amino acids and minerals that are formed during the slow cooking process are not just empty buzzwords.
Salsus' mission is as simple as it is complex: to create the world's best base juice preparations and sauces for chefs who know no compromise.
In the framework of our chef László Németh's concept, we present some of the uses of Norway's premium Salsus products, in collaboration with professionals, through recipes.
