One of Valrhona's main commitments is to reduce the amount of waste generated during chocolate production and improve the recycling rates of this waste.

In Valrhona's cocoa cleaning workshop, the recycling rate has already reached 100%! Since February 2023, they have transformed 27 tons of leaf residues, wood pieces, and other plantation waste into valuable compost. The company also plays an active role in combating deforestation and places great emphasis on promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
